Ark Gel is used to relieve pain associated with muscle or joint injuries such as sprains, strains, or sports injuries. It also relieves pain from rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, etc. It contains Diclofenac, Capsaicin, Methyl Salicylate, and Menthol.
Role of key ingredients: Diclofenac, which is used to treat acute muscular pain. Diclofenac belongs to the class of medications known as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It works by reducing pain, swelling, and inflammation by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins.
Capsaicin is derived from capsicum. Capsaicin helps relieve pain and inflammation. It stimulates the release of a compound involved in communicating pain between the nerves in the spinal cord and other parts of the body thus decreases the intensity of pain signals in the body.
Methyl Salicylate reduces inflammation.
Menthol is a compound with analgesic effects. Menthol targets kappa-opioid receptors in the brain, resulting in temporary relief from minor pain.
